New Interactive Trail Map
Thanks to the efforts of club member Betty Anne Fequet, our Birch Brook trail system is now featured on!

This interactive map can be viewed in satellite, terrain or OSM modes, and you can click or tap anywhere on the map to bring up additional layers of information. Trails and routes can also be downloaded to a phone so that they're right at your fingertips when you're heading out to explore!

We are very interested in adding more photos to this site to complement the trail maps. Both trail and action shots are good, as long as everyone in the photo has given consent to having it published. Anyone interested in contributing pictures should identify the trail and provide a caption, and credit will be given to the photographer. Photo submissions can be sent to

To view our wide selection of snowshoe, ski and hiking trails, go to, search for Happy Valley-Goose Bay, then search for Birch Brook. It may be necessary to zoom in on the map.

We hope that this interactive tool will not only enable people to visualize our wide network of trails, but encourage members and newcomers alike to venture out on a ski or snowshoe trail that they haven't tried before!
