Come join us on Saturday, November 24 at Birch Brook Nordic Ski Club for our first Full Moon Snowshoe & Potluck of the 2018-2019 season!

We will meet in the chalet for a delicious potluck dinner at 5:30pm. Bring your favourite dish to share, whether it be an appetizer, a main dish, a side dish, or a dessert. It can be hard to pinpoint exact numbers for these events, so feel free to bring along a container for leftovers!

After dinner we will head outside for a snowshoe under the light of a full moon. Be sure to bring a head lamp and dress for the weather (warm, waterproof, and in layers). Trail passes and snowshoe rentals will be available in the chalet for those that need them.

Unfortunately our chalet will be closed today due to the blustery conditions we're experiencing. Please check back for updates on grooming and opening hours tomorrow!

Our chalet will be opening tomorrow (November 14, 2018) from 10am until 4pm weather pending. Both the Games Trail and Brooks Trail have been groomed with Ginzu (our smaller groomer that gets towed behind our skidoo).

Given the winter storm watch currently in effect, please check back for an update in the morning before heading out!

Although the chalet and equipment rental room have closed, there is still lots of snow on the trails! Birch Brook members are welcome to continue to use the ski and snowshoe trails for as long as the snow lasts.

Jackrabbit parents, if your children still have rental ski equipment, please contact John Houlahan at 896-5278 as soon as possible to arrange its return.

Thank you to all our members and visitors for a very successful season! We are planning a season-ending social at the chalet for Sat, Apr 28. Please stay tuned for details.
