About the Club
Spring skiing at the Birch Brook Nordic Ski Club.

Welcome to Birch Brook Nordic Ski Club, a non-profit recreational facility located near Happy Valley-Goose Bay in Labrador.
You will enjoy exploring our trails year round. An ideal ski season is from late November through April when our snowy trails are groomed for classical and skate skiing with a Pisten Bully 100 groomer. We also have a network of popular snowshoe trails if you prefer more of a wilderness experience. From May to early November, join other hikers who have discovered the natural beauty of our trails.
Our chalet is the social hub of our club. Come and enjoy our friendly hospitality. The kettle is always on! Everyone is invited to our potluck suppers, non-competitive timed events, moonlit snowshoe hikes and all of our programs and socials. Visit this site often to find out what's new.

Hours of operation:
• Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (during ski season)
• Closed Mondays and Tuesdays except for chalet bookings.
2013 Season Rates:
Membership:
• Single adult (age 18+) $150
• Senior (age 60+) $135
• Youth (under age 18) $70
• Student ( full time with ID) $70
• Family (parents or guardians with under age 18 children in the same household) $300
• Corporate $200
Registration for membership is conducted on-line. Go to www.zone4.ca. Credit card payments are accepted on-line or payments by cash or cheque are accepted at the Birch Brook Nordic chalet.
Jackrabbit registration fee: $15
Ski Trail Day Passes for non-members:
• Adult $15
• Student or youth $10
Snowshoe Trail Day Passes for non-members:
• Adult $10
• Student or youth $5
Day passes may no longer add up towards a membership.
Ski Equipment Rental:
• Adult $10
• Student or youth $5
• Season rental for Jackrabbit skiers $60
Snowshoe Rental
• Adult sizes only $5
Overnight use of Colin's Hut (members and guests only) $20 each. Maximum occupancy: 4. Note that a booking is just a date reserved on the calendar. It does not guarantee groomed or safe trails and it does not include transportation of gear. When access is by snowshoe, the traditional flat non-gouging type is the only snowshoe permitted on groomed trails.
